Black Dahlia
This was a design for myself as I decided to prove that elegant and class is not size specific. This custom made piece was made with dull black sequin sheer mesh fabric for the full dress and basic strapless stretch satin mini dress underneath. Along with elegance and class the sheerness of the dress is also alluring as you get a sneak peak of wearer skin at top and bottoms. This dress was worn to the Zulu Mardi Gras Ball in New Orleans.
Myri
This was a gown I was asked to execute for a young up and coming actress, Emyri Crutchfield, a New Orleans native, who co-starred in remake of Roots. This custom made gown was featured on the red carpet at the New York City movie premiere. The main feature of this custom made piece is to be elegant and age appropriate. This chic mini was created with a soft pink satin charmeuse with mesh beaded applique to give the floral affect. The mini also featured pair of soft pink satin charmeuse shorts underneath.
Jade
This custom made piece was for "Prom Night." This high neckline mermaid silhouette gown was created using iridescent white beaded mesh over soft pink crepe back satin,with tulle hi lo overlay at the bottom. Fun fact about this dress the beading fabric was to be featured at the lower half but I ran out of fabric and when I went to the store to purchase more there was no more YIKES... So I took the pieces I had left and pieced together a design over the tulle that would bring top together with the bottom. It would be fun if these situations wasn't a part of the story. :)
